Our Harrisburg campus welcomes visits from schoolchildren! In fact, our teaching garden was designed with kids in mind!
Classes and groups of children participate in many interactive workshops and hands-on events that familiarize them with gardening, pollination, keeping chickens, composting, and many other fun and informative opportunities to learn about where their food comes from. In addition, our “Crack of Dawn” program is a before-school breakfast-in-the-garden complete with local egg sandwiches!
Check out our calendar of events for scheduled events for and with schoolchildren, or if you know of schoolchildren who would benefit from a visit to the campus, please contact us!
